Don't just plan to attend the 2015 WCTE Annual Convention. Now through 6/30, you can also propose a solo or group presentation and share your work with English educators from across the state. Convention organizers seek proposals for presentations that address different aspects of the Common Core, including

 

• Techniques for quality ELA instruction.

• Methods for encouraging students' self-awareness as readers, writers, thinkers, and citizens.

• Successful strategies in literature, language study, writing, speaking, and listening for today’s students.

• Collaborations across disciplines and grade levels.

• Techniques for professional reflection and dialogue.

• Reports on original research and/or innovative teaching in any settings where learning takes place.

 

 

Proposals are due online no later than June 30th, 2015. Contact Denise Meyer, the current Vice President of WCTE, with questions.
