MASA NCTE is the Milwaukee-Area Student Affiliate of the country's flagship professional group for English educators: the National Council of Teachers of English.
Founded in 2014, MASA serves undergraduates and graduate students preparing for K-college careers teaching English, including writing, language arts, and literary studies. Participating institutions include Cardinal Stritch U, Carroll U, Marquette U, Mount Mary College, UW-Milwaukee, and the UW Colleges. Member-ship is open to all undergrads, grad students, faculty, staff, and alumni from these and other area schools as well as area educators.
